Support STAY TUNED in the Region 10 Two Town Showdown - a Virtual Battle of the Bands!

STAY TUNED is competing in The Two Town Showdown, a virtual Battle of the Bands to support Region 10 Make a Mark, Inc. Every dollar donated equals a vote and a chance for us to win the grand prize of $300 as well as a recording session in a local studio. Vote early and vote often - we need your support!

• Who are we?  - Our group of five musicians comprising the Stay Tuned Band, has been together for almost three years, performing live at various establishments throughout the central Connecticut area, including the Durham Fair and Blue Back Square in West Hartford. We recently completed our first studio recording at Pharoah Studios in Plainville, which included our two original songs, "Looking Through the Window," and "Back in Time." We enjoy an active following on our Facebook page, frequently streaming our masked rehearsals until we can safely return to our favorite venues for live performances. 
  The five of us met at various stages throughout the last several years. John Giovannucci, our rhythm guitarist, Jay Dinielli, our bassist, and Diane Premus, our lead vocalist, have been performing Contemporary Christian music together in the St. Thomas Passion Play in Southington, for over a decade. In 2016, they were introduced to Fran Guerrera, our drummer, while performing with another Contemporary Christian group in West Hartford. The following year, at one of our church rehearsals, it was Fran who suggested we form our own band and, without hesitation, we took the plunge and never looked back! By August of 2018, we were performing our first of many gigs and in 2019, Ken Bach completed our group when he joined Stay Tuned as lead guitarist. And Diane Premus is not only a musical talent, but teaches 6th grade Math at Har-Bur Middle School.

• Why support Make a Mark & our band? - The Stay Tuned Band has been a great source of enjoyment, not only for the five of us, but for our friends and families as well! In fact, many of our Region 10 staff members have come out to support the band at our live performances. More than anything, we are eternally grateful for the loving support of our families, for sharing their homes after a long work day for our weekly rehearsals, for being our roadies at gigs, and for encouraging us to take on this grand adventure at this point in our lives.
